Only a few weeks before releasing their 13th studio album, The Terror, The Flaming Lips will be performing a free show at SXSW, on the Town Lake Stage of the Auditorium Shores.

Jim James, touring in support of his recent solo release, and indie supergroup Divine Fits, a concoction of Spoon and Wolf Parade members, will be opening for The Flaming Lips.
There will be three nights of free shows at Auditorium Shores, March 14, 15 & 16. Café Tacvba will be headlining the first night, The Flaming Lips the second night, then The Midnight Ramble, who will be playing in tribute to The Band’s Levon Helm, will headline the conclusion to the set of shows.
