ALTERNATIVE PRESS and the Video Game Voters Network (VGVN) are partnering up this SXSW for “The Bonus Round”, a free all-ages party during the SXSW Gaming Expo. Just south of Lady Bird Lake at the Palmer Events Center, the party features UK headliners Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls along with local indie-pop group Driver Friendly and tunes from Cleveland’s Rob Ortenzi. This event is free and open to the public, as Alternative Press says in the announcement on their site. Be sure to check it out for some local flavor – VGVN is aiming to showcase video game titles with strong Texas connections, especially from local video game companies!
