Another Planet Entertainment (the group responsible for half of the music shows in the Bay Area) and SANFRANPSYCHO present The Sam Chase and Cosmic Suckerpunch tour to SXSW. Of which they will be kicking off at SF’s very own Rickshaw Stop.

The Sam Chase had two albums (debut year 2009) and a live record under their belt going into 2012. Then, this past year saw their first studio-recorded album, Will Lead Us to Victory. Sam Tillman Chase is a local SF guy and plays some kick-ass new-age folk with a bunch of other people on stage for live shows. His whiskey-rasped voice is too close to the comfort radio tunes when traveling south; with a country twang he sings the blues and finger-picks colorful ways through stories. He’s also got a little Flogging Molly with a dash of Greg Dulli in the vocals.
