The Black Ryder is duo project of Aimee Nash and Scott Von Ryper, former members of the highly regarded Aussie psych-rock band, Morning After Girls. Formed in 2007 as a response to accompany the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club on a few tour dates, their debut album was not officially released until 2009. However, the U.S. didn’t see Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride until 2010 when they went on tour with The Cult. A mesmerizing cocktail of psych rock, shoegaze, and dark country The Black Ryder has a knack for that mysterious and enchanting stage presence which makes their performances unbelievably good.
