Electric Forest Festival Announces 2013 Lineup Including Pretty Lights, Passion Pit, Empire of the Sun and More

The Electric Forest Festival not only announced a 2013 lineup filled with big name performances, but they are also boasting an even bigger venue than last year.


The Sherwood Forest of Rothbury, Michigan will come alive this June 27, 28, 29, and 30 when popular artists Pretty Lights, Passion Pit, Empire of the Sun and more, perform at the Electric Forest Festival.

The festival will host over 65 artists, but the real surprise may come from the venue. The Electric Forest Festival will feature daytime activities, including a water park.

Gold Rush Water Park is offering discounted passes on the festival days. The passes will include a shuttle to and from the park, a towel and a shower.

Festival goers may also play a round of golf for an extra charge. Thoroughbred Golf Club will host its third annual “Celebrity” Invitational. Festival patrons may also reserve their own tee-time.

Festival guests will also have access to Big Wildcat Lake, Glow in the Dark Disc Golf, and horseback riding at an extra charge.

At night Sherwood Forest will be lit with hanging light installations.

In addition to these activities, the festival will also host a food drive with the non-profit organization, Conscious Alliance, in honor of Roy Price. Price was a Electric Forest Festival neighbor and food drive supporter.
