Jack White is teaming up with The Butthole Surfers front man Gibby Haynes for a new single.
Jack White is continuing his Third Man Series with a brand new 3-song 7-inch with The Butthole Surfers front man, none-other than Gibby Haynes. The three songs include two originals “You Don’t Have to Be Smart” and “A Horse Named George” and a cover of the lost-classic Adrenalin OD song “Paul’s Not Home”. The 7-inch features Jack White on guitar, Gibby Haynes on vocals, Ben Swank on drums and Fats Kaplin on bass. “Paul’s Not Home” also features Jo McCaghey on the vibrachime and as the mother’s voice.
The 7-inch will be available on February 14th, otherwise known as Valentine’s Day. There will be a 100 limited edition “flex-ray” copies available on the Third Man Rolling Record store at SXSW.
