Berlin natives Moderat, composed of electronic artists Apparat and Modeselektor, have announced their sophomore album, II. Read on for more details.
The new album will first be available digitally on August 2 and then fans can get their hands on a hard copy on August 6 when the release goes worldwide. It will also be available as a deluxe edition 2 CD and 2 LP vinyl. Pre-ordering is now available.

Aside from this album, the two bands have been busy individually preparing for their upcoming events and album releases. You can see Modeskeletor this summer at Coachella 2013. Apparat’s new album, Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre) will be coming out in just a few weeks on February 19.
