Our beloved Amanda Palmer is officially part of the SXSW 2013 Festival. She will not be there as a performing artist but a speaker at the Music Conference. Her segment, entitled “The Anatomy of Amanda Fucking Palmer: An Inside Look,” will give fans an insight to the dedication and efforts Palmer endured to get this far.
Miss Palmer has kept herself busy over the last year but her fans have shown nothing but support. SXSW audience members will have the opportunity to listen to her talk about the steps she took to get to where she is today so that maybe they can be inspired to do it themselves. Perhaps in the audience will be another person to have a successful Kickstarter campaign. They can also see that with every career, despite the glitz and the glam, come challenging and trialing moments.
Palmer’s career has not only sky-rocketed, but is also considered to be a role model standard for aspiring artists. The event will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13. More information is available here.
