Maximum Hedrum was only recently formed in the fall of 2012 and it is only a few months until their self-titled debut albums hits the shelves in March. They have now released a new video for their track, “Keep In Touch.” Watch below.
Maximum Hedrum’s album is now scheduled for a March 19th release date, contrary to what has been previously reported. “Keep In Touch” is the first single off their record, but the band has kept busy outside of the recording studio by working with electronic due N.A.S.A. (North America/South America) on the song “Overdrive.”
“Keep In Touch” was co-produced by Christopher Neil and Maximum Hedrum band member, Sam Spiegel. Below, Spiegel speaks on how the idea behind the video started and what he portrays through the footage:
“The video was inspired by an article in Italian that my friend Wendy Morgan sent me about a young man with cerebral palsy and his relationship with his mom and a prostitute. The story felt closely related to ‘Keep in Touch’ in the sense of yearning for intimacy without the ability to express it with touch … Shooting this film was a great experience in getting to know Javier Silcook (our lead actor who has cerebral palsy) and his family who are amazing (Javier has 62 adopted brothers all with disabilities as well). I hope we were able to show some of the beautiful as well as lonely moments of living with CP.”
