The duo promise their newest album will be released, “sooner rather than later.”
Sleigh Bells, composed of guitarist Derek Miller and singer Alexis Krauss, have already prepared five songs for their upcoming album. Miller described the new album to NME.com as different from past projects; he says the album comes, “from a different headspace, just more up and positive not as a downer”
In a recent mxdwn.com article, Krauss described the album as having a new sound as well, saying it is, “a lot more clean…It might sound surprising…I use my voice in more of a, dare I say, traditional way”
Don’t worry anxious fans. The band promises it is “halfway” done; the “new” sounds are scheduled to release this year.
