Thao & the Get Down Stay Downs are debuting their first track for “We The Common (For Valerie Bolden)” off of their new album We The Common. The upbeat folky sound of the first single is a total teaser for the upcoming album.
The album We The Common will be released on February 5th, shortly after which the band will embark on a series on in-store performances. Then the folk band will launch an extensive Spring tour to show off the new album. If “We The Common (For Valerie Bolden)” is any indicator for the upcoming album, the CD is sure to to be a hit. The album will include 12 tracks, in fact, the band has even released the titles already.
