March will be a big month for musician Kate Nash. Not only does she release her long awaited LP titled ‘Girl Talk’ (as mxdwn reported, it was available for pre-order in November) March 6, but she also begins her tour March 12. In addition to musical achievements, Nash is also joining forces with the ‘Because I am a Girl’ charity, which aims to help girls in developing countries.
The all female band will kick off their tour in Boston. They will play songs from their upcoming album throughout the mid-west and Canada. Their final show will be back in New York City March 26 at the Bowery Ballroom. Their upcoming single ‘3 am’ drops in the U.S. February 18. Those who pre-ordered ‘Girl
‘Because I am a Girl’ is a program aiming to better the lives of 4 million girls by 2016. Plan International started this initiative. Many girls in developing countries experience malnutrition, violence, and trafficking, and together with Kate Nash, ‘Because I am a Girl’ is trying to end that.
