Danny Lilker and Billy Milano, formerly of Stormtroopers of Death, have assembled to form a new band, United Forces. They have also recruited Nick Barker, former member of Cradle of Filth, as drummer and Anton Reisenegger as guitarist.
As the band is currently spread out all over the world (with Lilker and Milano in the United States, and Barker and Reisenegger in Europe) recording and touring plans remain unknown.
However, Milano notes that,
I’m not out to reinvent myself at my age. I just want to have a lot of fun with this. We called it United Forces because we’re located all over the place, in different countries, but this is something we’re going to come together for.
Although previous S.O.D. members Scott Ian and Charlie Benante are not included in the new lineup, the band’s name recalls S.O.D. The name was pulled from a phrase that is also a famous S.O.D. song.
Plans for the new band are to be announced in the coming weeks.
