Taking the second-annual event to Detroit next summer, Metallica will again bring the hurt for their Orion Music + More Festival in 2013. The two-day metal meeting’s official location has yet to be revealed, but we know this much: James Hatfield and company are slated to shake up the Motor City on February 8-9. Further event info and roster details are forthcoming.
Tickets go on sale February. Last year’s festival had Metallica headlining in a rare live performance of diehard favorites Ride the Lightning and The Black Album in their entirety. Other aggressive acts on the roster included metal warriors Avenged Sevenfold and Sepultura, as well as new-generation bands Ghost, Liturgy and The Sword.
