New York duo Sepalcure produced it’s debut release last November – self-titled LP that was quickly pronounced one of the best of 2011. A collaboration between Praveen Sharma (Percussion Lab) and Travis Stewart (Machinedrum), their album takes an alleyway that few producers have walked. A finely manicured mix of house, UK funk, disco diva vocals, drum and bass, Sepalcure’s sound is familiar and rich, innovative and reminiscent. As a collaboration project, speculation of another album is unsure, so see them on this tour because they might not come around again!
