New Jersey indie rockers Yo La Tengo held their annual Hanukkah shows at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, and feature special guests who sit in with them. Fan videos were taken and are below.
This year’s edition was no different, as multi-instrumentalist Andrew Bird played violin on a cover of Velvet Underground’s “Heroin.”
The Feelies took part on another Velvet Underground song “Sister Ray,” as well as a Yo La Tengo song “The Room Got Heavy.”
Real Estate’s Martin Courtney also joined in on “Our Way To Fall.”
Yo La Tengo’s new album Fade comes out January 15th via. Matador.
