On the Beach – A Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert Lineup Announced Including My Morning Jacket, Nicole Atkins, River City Extension and More

My Morning Jacket and Preservation Hall Jazz Band are scheduled to headline for “On the Beach,” a Hurricane Sandy relief concert to be held at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park, N.J., on January 2, 2013. Tickets go on sale December 14, courtesy of Ticketmaster.

Get ready to rock out and feel good doing it. The talent-rich charity event, hosted by radio personality and New Jersey native Matt Pinfield, will also feature singer–songwriter Joseph Arthur, indie rockers River City Extension and crooner Nicole Atkins. See below for the concert’s full lineup.
