Pillowfight, the collaboration between Dan the Automator and Emily Wells, are sharing their single, “Get Your Shit Together.” The single is off the band’s self-titled LP, due for digital and CD release January 22nd.

mxdwn first caught wind of Pillowfight at SXSW and was immediately enthralled. They were also on our list of best new artists that performed at SXSW. However, neither of these artists are new to the scene. Dan the Automator is probably best known for his work with Gorillaz and Handsome Boy Modeling School. Wells has an established career as a songwriter and violinist. The end-product is sultry and cool, but fans of Dan the Automator will immediately recognize his contribution.
