Former Soul Coughing frontman Mike Doughty has announced a previously unreleased song called “Dogs/Demons.” Fans will now have the opportunity to purchase and receive their very own version of it direct from Doughty.
Fans who purchase “Dogs/Demons” can choose between three different keys in which Doughty will play the song (C, D, or D-sharp), and the option to add a bridge for an additional price. Doughty will then record it onto a digital recorder, along with the buyer’s name and the date and location of the recording, and send that digital recorder straight to the fan, signed and numbered by Doughty himself.
The base price for the piece is $543.09, with an additional charge of $267.18 for the optional bridge. Doughty is willing to record a personal message, in addition to the purchaser’s name, date, and other basic details; the charge for a personal message is $35,335.53. For more details, head here.
