FolkYEAH presents Lavender Diamond @ The Chapel 12/11

FolkYeah!!!, a collective hosting live music concerts and intimate festivals in Big Sur and San Francisco, often brings the best of all kinds within the folk genre. Legendary, contemporary, psychedelic, and acoustic; you may just hear your new favorite artist at one of their friendly events. They host Lavender Diamond, Jessica Pratt, and a surprise guest next Tuesday ant San Francisco’s newest intimate music venue, The Chapel, located in the Mission (777 Valencia St.)

Soft, sweet, fantastically imagined classical influences, and just extraordinarily beautiful music of Lavender Diamond will ring through the old church recently turned music venue The Chapel. A quartet project started in 2004, Lavender Diamond has released their third studio album, Incorruptible Heart, this past year. All albums being critically acclaimed, front-woman Becky Stark’s ethereal and multi-octave voice pins listeners right through the heart. This art-pop album is about love, with the songs themselves often transforming from frailty to strength or grace.
