The Henry Clay People’s Members May Part Ways

As OC Weekly reports, Orange County’s beloved Henry Clay People are at a pivotal point. The drummer, Eric Scott, will be leaving the band soon, leaving the other members thinking about their future.

The band are beginning a one-month residency at the Satellite, in Los Angeles, beginning December 3rd. After those shows it sounds like the band will make a decision, or at least take some time to rest and recharge.

Joey Siara, the band’s  singer and guitarist, had this to say:

Having been on the road a lot, outside of a couple of secret shows here and there, we’ve gotten away from some of the stuff we’ve loved such as playing these free shows. It’s a monumental fork-in-the-road moment that’s causing us to be sentimental.

It’s definitely a weird moment for the band, and there’s something cool about not knowing what’s going to happen to us next. I think because of that, we are that much more dedicated to making these December shows count and matter and have all the sentimental value they should have.

Whatever the band end up deciding, be sure to check them out at the Satellite if you’re in the Los Angeles area. The residency shows are free and will take place December 3, 10, 17, and 31.
