Houses (Chicago-based) is a live chillwave/ambient/electro-acoustic collaboration between Dexter Tortoriello and Megan Messina. Their 2010 debut album, All Night, was made in a candle-lit cabin in the jungle of Hawaii with enough solar power for their equipment. Isolation, and an inner peace of mind come from their dreamy brand of IDM.
Dan Casey aka Yalls has been gaining popularity in the east bay EDM scene. He offers surprises to the audience by utilizing unfamiliar sounds in his compositions, which present a unique, weirded-out pop-beat funk that’s often so chill.
