Artists Assemble To Perform Covers at Tom Petty Tribute Concert Including Nicole Atkins, The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney, The Strokes and More

This week in Los Angeles, several notable musicians and stars came together to perform in honor of Tom Petty. Known as the Petty Fest, the even included nearly three hours of musicians covering Petty songs.

The Black Keys’ Patrick Ke$ha made an appearance together to perform a rendition of “Last Dance with Mary Jane.” According to Rolling Stone, the room was full of devoted Petty fans and full proceeds from the show went to the charity Sweet Relief and victims of Hurricane Sandy. Although, no actual Heartbreakers were present, seminal bands and even actors graced the stage. The event didn’t limit itself to musical performances and actors and comedians such as Sarah Silverman and Justin Bartha stepped onto the stage for crowd-cheering performing.
