Watch: Jeff Mangum and Rites of Spring’s Guy Picciotto Sing “Sign the Dotted Line” At The People’s Bailout Telethon

Last night, Thursday November 15^th, Jeff Mangum and Guy Picciotto headlined a telethon at New York venue Le Poisson Rouge. Strike Debt, an offshoot of Occupy Wall Street, organized the telethon.

Mangum and Picciotto duetted on a cover of “Sign the Dotted Line”, a protest song by Tall Dwarfs. The song was particularly fitting since the song is about being duped into debt. Mangum had previously covered the song back in 2010.

The telethon raised enough money to smash over $5 million worth of debt.
