Jim James, the frontman of My Morning Jacket, will release his debut solo album early next year.
Jim James is known as a full fledged folk-rocker. His main focus is My Morning Jacket but he is also a member of the supergroup Monsters of Folk. On February 5th 2013 ATO Records will release his debut solo album titled Regions of Light and Sound of God. You can stream the first single “Know Til Now” below. “Know Til Now” is a departure from much of James’ other work as the single blends R&B with electro-beats and Jim James’ signature vocal structure.
