Sally Shapiro Announces New Album Somewhere Else for February 2013 Release and Stream of “What Can I Do”

Although it’s been three years since the Swedish songstress’ last release, Sally Shapiro is back with a vengeance with her new album Somewhere Else. To promote this album, Shapiro is debuting her first single of the album, “What Can I Do”.
Somewhere Else will drop on February 26th, 2013, however, until then Shapiro’s fans can put her first single, “What Can I Do” on repeat. Pitchfork reported that Shapiro’s single is very close to how she feels often in her daily life.

The title describes the recurrent theme in the music and my life, to somehow never be satisfied with what you have, or where you are – to always wish you were somewhere else

This album is Shapiro’s first release since her 2009 album My Guilty Pleasure, and it’s sure to not disappoint.
