In an interview with London’s The Sun, soul legend Bobby Womack says he would like to record an entire album with Lana Del Rey.
Womack, a recording artist for over 4 decades, told The Sun:
“I would love to do a whole album with Lana. Maybe I will get that chance, I’m putting it out there now.”
As reported by mxdwn, Del Rey, who became the first artist in over decade to perform on Saturday Night Live before the release of an album (“Born to Die”), previously worked with Womack on a song titled “Dayglo Reflection” for his album “The Bravest Man in the Universe,” which won Best Album at the prestigious Q Awards in London just last week.
Should the two pair up again, Del Rey will no doubt learn a great deal from the legend who was once Sam Cooke’s backup singer.
