Watch: Sharon Van Etten Releases New NSFW Video for “Magic Chords”

Sharon Van Etten has released a shocking and enticing video for her song “Magic Chords” which features much nudity and mystery.

In this mysterious video, Van Etten is dressed in colonial garb and appears to be wandering the forrest alone, possibly contemplating something. Suddenly, about five or six naked men and women appear lying around her in the grass. Then Van Etten dives fully dressed into a river where she is floating alone. Again, suddenly naked bodies appear around her. This video has a very wistful and dream-like feel to it. The meaning of this video is still a mystery to me and is really up to the viewer to decide.
