Indie-rock group Grandaddy might be working on a new album. Read more for details.

The last couple months Indie-rockers Grandaddy has been traveling the world in reunion tour after breaking up in 2006. Prefix is now reporting a new album might be on the horizon. The details come out of frontman Jason Lytle’s mouth:

“I think it’s gonna happen, yeah…I’m actually looking forward to making another Grandaddy record. I mean, I’m looking forward to hearing another Grandaddy record, not actually the making of it… The simple part of my brain will not allow me to go there right now. I just need to go home and rest, and I’ll get excited about it again.”

These aren’t exactly concrete details but it does sound like the the idea of new album is promising. This will be their first since 2006’s Just Like The Fambly Cat.
