Rage Against the Machine Announces Special 20th Anniversary Reissue Rage Against the Machine – XX For November 2012 Release

The 20^th anniversary of Rage Against The Machine’s self titled debut album will be marked with three separate reissues on November 27^th.

Rage Against the Machine – XX will feature a remastered version of the original album along with three b-sides from that era. It will be released as a single disc set, a Special Edition two CD and one DVD set.

The Special Edition and the Deluxe Box Set includes two CDs including the band’s demo tape recorded in 1991 and sold for $5 at the band’s early shows. also includes two DVDs – one with footage from the band’s free concert in Finsbury Park in June 2010, as a thank you to the UK fans for making “Killing In The Name” the UK’s Number One Single during the week of Christmas week in 2009. The band’s music videos and live concert performance clips are also included on this DVD.

A second DVD includes live performances from 1991-1994 with previously unreleased recordings of the band’s first public performance along with various live clips.

The Special Edition and Deluxe Editions also includes vinyl, a 40 page booklet, new liner notes specially written for the band’s 20^th anniversary by Chuck D. of Public Enemy.
