Cat Power just released their video for “Cherokee”, which was self directed by front-woman Charlyn Marie Marshall.
According to Paste, Cat Power’s much anticipated album Sun is their first album of original material in six years. As an added bonus, Cat Power has just released their video for the lead single, “Cherokee”. Their album was entirely self-produced by Marshall as was the video. The video seems to be set in the future in which a species of zombie-like people have taken over. Marshall, who stars in the video, must band together with other refugees in order to survive and and to fight the zombies.
