Everybody’s favorite Canadian twins Tegan and Sara have premiered the lead single off their forthcoming studio album set for a January 2013 release. Recently, Tegan told Rolling Stone that “Sara calls CLOSER my ‘let’s get it on’ track”.
According to Tegan, the upbeat, synth-heavy jam is supposed to harken us back to
A time before sex, complicated relationships, drama and heart break…A time when we got CLOSER by linking arms and walking down our school hallway or talked all night on the telephone about every thought or experience we’d ever had.
