2012 has undoubtedly been a great year for Neil Young fans. So far, we have been treated to the return of Crazy Horse, which has included an album already (Americana) with another on the way (Psychic Pill), a tour, a headlining spot at Outside Lands and the release of Jonathan Demme’s documentary, “Neil Young Journeys”.
Now, the lineup for Mr. Young’s 26th annual Bridge School Benefit concert has been announced and there’s plenty to be excited about. The show is set to feature appearances from Guns N’ Roses, Jack White as well as The Flaming Lips. Also performing will be Neil Young & Crazy Horse (of course), Sarah McLachlan, Foster the People, Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang, and Gary Clark Jr.
This year’s concert is scheduled for October 20-21 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, once again raising money for the Bridge School, which educates children with severe speech and physical impairments.
