COC originally formed in Raleigh, NC in 1982 and introduced their politically charged heavy rock sound to the world. Influenced by Black Flag, Bad Brains and D.O.A., their raw sound caught the attention of hardcore and punk fans everywhere.

Eye For An Eye was originally released in 1984 and featured the lineup of guitarist Woodroe “Woody” Weatherman, vocalist/bassist Mike Dean, drummer Reed Mullin, and vocalist Eric Eycke. The EP was issued in 1989, where Dean was out of the band between 1987 and 1992.
