OohLaLa! Festival 2012 Lineup Announced For Expanded Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Montreal Events

The fourth edition of the OohLaLA! Festival is set to launch in Los Angeles in October, and will be expanding into additional cities as well. It will launch in its home base of Los Angeles at the El Rey Theater on October 11^th and expand into other locations including Club Nokia and the Satellite over three nights.

The event is once again is presented and executively produced by Goldenvoice and KCRW.

Additional cities taking part in the event includes stops in San Francisco on Friday, October 12^th at Rickshaw Stop (presented by Popscene and KCRW), Montreal at SAT on Tuesday, October 16^th (presented by Evenko and CISM), and New York City at Highline Ballroom on Wednesday, October 17^th as part of The Agency Group showcase at the CMJ Convention.

The fest started in Los Angeles in 2009 by Barclay/Universal Music France A & R executive Sylvain Taillet, introducing up and coming talent out of France. With the support of the French General Consulate in LA, the festival is sponsored by Air France US, Pernod-Ricard USA, TV5MONDE, Los Angeles based foundation FLAX (foundation towards a better understanding of France through public and cultural art events that promote cross-cultural learning), SACEM (French version of ASCAP), the Farmer’s Daughter Hotel and French kitchenware producer Mastrad.
