To celebrate the release of their recent sophomore effort Midnight Flowers (Buffalo Jump Records), New York’s The Dig packed their bags and headed west for a Wednesday night residency at one of their favorite clubs in Los Angeles, the Silverlake Lounge. The band is no stranger to the Lounge as they’ve rocked it many times before and of course, tonight was no different. With a backdrop of lights shooting out from behind, The Dig went through almost their entire catalog of low-fi, indie-pop-casual sound. They ended their month long residency with the crowd nodding their head and moving their feet to Blackwater.
