Apparently Hank Williams Jr is still not convinced US President Barack Obama is not Muslim, even after he proved he was not. According to the Des Moines Register, during an appearance at the Iowa State Fair amongst 8,500 people in attendance, Williams Jr. reportedly made this claim publicly:
“We’ve got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the US and we hate him!”
Brad Anderson from the Obama campaign in Iowa issued a statement in an email:
“That type of absurd nonsense doesn’t really deserve a response.”
