The Flaming Lips concluded StePhest Colbchella ‘012 after fun., Santigold and Grizzly Bear each took the stage aboard the Intrepid Sea for Colbert’s comedy-filled music festival. Watch the highlights of their performance after the jump.
Frontman Wayne Coyne has always been a musician who provides interesting interviews and StePhest Colbchella was no different. Watch his conversation with Colbert below, which takes place in a space capsule.
One of the tracks performed by The Flaming Lips was “Ashes in the Air”, but it had a different sound at the festival because the band wasn’t accompanied by Bon Iver like on their The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends release.
Another selection of the night was the fan-favorite “Do You Realize?”.
