M.I.A. has informally announced a December release for her 4th album, tentatively titled Matangi.
After revealing that she would answer 10 questions about the upcoming LP on twitter, she revealed that the album would be released this December, along with an autobiographical book, a documentary, and an art exhibition. In line with her recent controversial Superbowl performance, she alluded that the album would be one big beat-laden middle finger to the music industry. She also posted a cryptic track list of the album on twitter, pictured below:
