R & B sensation Frank Ocean recently made his television performance debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show. He performed his single “Bad Religion” with a string section and members of the Roots backing him up. Watch the video clip below.

The New Orleans, LA native gained notoriety after the release of his 2011 mixtape Nostalgia, Ultra. He quickly drew interest from such names as Kanye West, Beyonce Knowles, and Jay Z.

The songs on his long awaited debut album, Channel Orange (due July 17^th) dealt with subjects ranging from interpersonal relationships, personal reflection and social commentaries. He had recently posted on his Tumblr blog about falling in love with 19-year-old male in the summer of 2007 and thanking his for his influence on how it helped him become who he is today.
