You may have enjoyed Tilly and the Wall‘s several cameos over the past few years on popular shows ‘Sesame Street’ and ‘90210,’ or even may have caught their appearance on ‘Letterman.’ But come October 2, their eclectic sound will hit the record stores as they release their new album, Heavy Mood. The reality of life always has an influence over an artist’s creation and there is no doubt that applies to the members of Tilly and the Wall. According to the press release, Heavy Mood was recorded as each member experienced a life changing event. Vocalist Derek Pressnall and tap dancer Jamie Williams Pressnall, as well as vocalist Kianna Alarid Cameron, all married and had children. Keyboardist Nick White and bass guitarist Neely Jenkins both relocated to Los Angeles.
These major events have allowed the artists to collaborate for a colorful array of songs on their new track. “Love Riot,” their first single, is available now and the album will be released October 2 on Team Love. The track listing for Heavy Mood is below.
