Ryan Adams fans are in for a beast of a treat. The singer-songwriter has just announced that he will be releasing a 15 vinyl boxset entitled Life After Deaf, which will contain many rare tracks. More details after the jump.
The clever pun that is the title actually refers to a rather serious ailment called Ménière’s disease that Adams suffers from, which causes a loss of hearing. The physical copy of Life After Deaf will include 144 live acoustic tracks, with 74 digital-only bonus tracks also included in the price. Thats right, that means this collection contains a whopping 218 tracks from Adams.
The box set weighs 13 pounds and will cost $130 plus shipping. Given the extraordinary amount of material being purchased, what seems like a steep cost actually comes out as a pretty good deal. Those eager to purchase Life After Deaf can head to Ryan Adams PAX-AM store starting tomorrow, Friday June 15.
