The Melvins will try to become the latest band to set a Guiness World Record by becoming the first band to tour the entire United States in 51 days. They will be promoting their recently released Freak Puke CD.
The ‘Melvins Lite’ lineup of Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and Trevon Dunn begin their record breaking venture on September 5 in Anchorage, Alaska. The tour passes through every US state including Hawaii, Alaska and Washington, DC with no off days in between. The tour ends on October 25.
Prior to the US tour, the Melvins will take on a condensed, Canadian tour in July. All of the upcoming tour dates are posted below.
