GWAR has just announced their annual GWAR-B-Q, which is set to take place August 18 at Hadad’s Lake. The splat-tac-ular event will host a slew of great bands at the lake for one of the most anticipated events of this summer for lovers of heavy music. Check out all of the details after the jump.
GWAR will be headlining the third annual festival at Hadad’s Lake, the location they tried to get last year but couldn’t because of permit issues. Everything has been confirmed for this year, which should make the event better than ever. There will be two stages featuring The Casualties, GHOUL, Valient Thorr, Occultist, Lionize, Highness, Antietam 1862, MUTWAWA, Black Naked Wings and more.
Perhaps the most newsworthy aspect of this event revolves around the return of the Sexecutioner to GWAR’s live format for the first time in twelve years. As put by bandleader, Oderus Urungus, “I can’t tell you how ecstatic I am to once again be engaging in acts of necro-bestial delight with my old buddy, The Sexecutioner. Well actually, I can.
