For one month, four great bands will be traveling together throughout North America promoting their most recent projects. The “Epic Kings & Idols Tour” will happen this coming September, featuring co-headliners, The Devin Townsend Project and Katatnoia. Read on for full tour dates.
“We’re about to start getting into touring mode again,” said Devin Townsend. The two bands will alternate headlining shows each night. Opening acts for the tour include Stolen Babies and Paradise Lost.
Devin Townsend is proud to announce the completion of a CD/DVD set and a new album. By A Thread – Live in London is to be released on June 19, with the DVD including live footage from the London performances. On September 18, in the middle his tour with Katatonia, Devin Townsend will release the band’s newest album, Epicloud.
The other headliner of the tour, Katatonia, will also be playing songs from the upcoming album Dead End Kings, planned to be released on August 28. That release day will also be shared with opening act, Paradise Lost. In celebration of their first stage appearance since 2007, the band will be reissuing six titles.
