According to Stereogum, Willis Earl Beal was arrested in Utrecht for kicking a homeless person in the face. The event happened outside of the Le Guess Who? festival and supposedly the homeless man was giving Beal some trouble which caused Beal to attack him. Beal was arrested and later released with all charges dropped. In the video below WEB talks about the incident on stage saying, “Because of a few bad apples, we all miss out on one more glorious, fantastic, lovely performance. I love you, and I even love the guy whose face I kicked in. I love him, too. He’s a good guy! He’s just drunk, a little.”
