After two albums, it appears that Does It Offend You, Yeah? are on an indefinite hiatus. British electo-rock quintet toured with Nine Inch Nails, Bloc Party, and The Prodigy and even teased fans about a forthcoming release shortly before the hiatus was announced. More details after the jump.
Does It Offend You, Yeah? recently announced via their Facebook page that they were “Working on something exciting!” but something must have changed quickly. Just thirteen days, the following message was posted:
We’d just like to announce that DIOYY is now on hiatus for the foreseeable future.
After five years touring the world, playing alongside some of our favourite bands and visiting some awesome countries we’ve decided to concentrate on other projects. James and Dan are working on a new EP for a purely electronic project which we’ll bring you news on soon, we’ll also keep you informed of what Chloe, Rob and Mattie are up to. We might do the odd very special gig if our schedules permit it.

It appears that DIOYY fans can possibly expect a final show and some spinoff projects, but it appears that for now, they are closing the book on this project.
