The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends Blood Vinyl To Sell for $2500

The anticipated collaboration album from The Flaming Lips is almost here. Find out more about the blood laden limited edition after the jump.

We reported earlier here about this unique album development. The record, entitled The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends, will physically include blood samples from some of its contributors. Some of these artists are Ke$ha, Erykah Badu, Bon Iver, Neon Indian, Nick Cave and others.

There will only be ten copies of this version available and each will sell for $2500. The Flaming Lips are getting ready to perform “The Dark Side of the Moon” at this year’s Hangout Festival and are in the midst of a tour that will finish its run in July.
