Tommy Marth Saxophone Player For The Killers Dies in Apparent Suicide

Tommy Marth, the saxaphoist for The Killers, was found dead in his Las Vegas home and it was ruled a suicide.

The Killers have released a statement regarding Marth’s death: “Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family. There’s a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy.”

Tommy toured with The Killers in 2008 and 2009 and played on their albums Sam’s Town and Day & Age. He was only 33 years old.
