Henry Clay People Announce New Album Twenty-Five For the Rest of Our Lives For June 2012 Release

Henry Clay People have just announced that their new album, Twenty-Five for the Rest of Our Lives, will be released June 26 via TBD Records. Stream the album’s title track after the jump.

This record will stand as a strong defiance of mortality and everybody’s secret wish: to be young forever. The album clocks in at about thirty minutes and will feature the band’s original lineup. Here’s what Joey Siara had to say of the record:

We wanted to finally make the record that our sixteen year old selves would have been excited about.  Unfortunately the only way to do so was to live for the last 13 years and get some adult suffering under our belt.  Now we can direct our misguided teenage angst at our failed 20’s.

Henry Clay People are set to hit the road this summer, so stay tuned for the announcement of tour dates.  Listen to their first single, “Twenty-Five for the Rest of Our Lives” below.
